I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Masters Degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I have been working as a software engineer for over 15 years. I have extensive experience in data processing pipelines and queues, as well as full-stack development.
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer at ReadCoor Inc., working on software for next-generation spatial sequencing.
Before that, I was an Integration Services Engineer at Intellify Learning, where I interacted with the company's largest clients, and implemented solutions for Intellify's LIaaS (Learning Intelligence as a Service) educational analytics platform. The role combined technical leadership with hands-on software development.
Prior to that, I worked at Esperdyne LLC, where I was Senior Software Engineer, and worked to implement search infrastructure and classification schemes, in addition to other interesting projects.
Additionally, I am co-founder and lead developer of OpenCheck LLC - a company that I started with a friend to help municipalities to be more transparent with their financial data.
I have had a long history of interest in software development, starting at the age of 8 when my parents brought home an Apple 2e, and having influenced my hobbies and choices in education ever since.
When I am not writing code, I enjoy spending time with my family, and sometimes writing and recording music.
